摘要：沒(méi)有陽(yáng)光，就沒(méi)有日子的溫馨;沒(méi)有雨露，就沒(méi)有五谷的豐登;沒(méi)有水源，就沒(méi) 有生命;沒(méi)有親情、友誼和愛(ài)情，那么世界將是一片孤獨(dú)的黑暗。銜環(huán)結(jié)草，投 桃報(bào)李，學(xué)會(huì)感恩，學(xué)會(huì)感恩，將冰冷的世界變得溫暖，變得豐富。學(xué)會(huì)感恩， 將被愛(ài)傳承， 讓每一個(gè)苦難的心靈接受愛(ài)心的呼喚， 回應(yīng)無(wú)窮的力量。

斜坡下，沼澤地散發(fā)出金屬的味道。
一群馬啃著棘皮類(lèi)動(dòng)物似的草葉。
在秋天和平原的中心，八個(gè)女人
圍著桌子勞作。露水飽和了
俄亥俄的周末。山谷下，
一棵楓樹(shù)吱吱作響(或許是個(gè)罐頭盒，
無(wú)法判斷)。光線厚重起來(lái)，
在威斯康辛，北達(dá)科他，俄勒岡，
還有獵戶星座。神的坡地
滑向迷失的空間。單調(diào)的心跳
撞擊峻峭的地面時(shí)，
讓我們感謝這新的`陸地。
我的目光無(wú)法穿透它，但它是鮮活的。
它也無(wú)法穿透我，但我可以斷定
一只老犬在此地比在老家
更容易辨認(rèn)出奧德修斯。
我將感恩之心獻(xiàn)給那些

它在天旋地轉(zhuǎn)中的遏制。
大海這邊，物象反反復(fù)復(fù)，
已適應(yīng)了黃昏。
三鼎鐘敲響時(shí)，聲音填滿了所有角落。
視網(wǎng)膜不再懼怕犯錯(cuò)，
發(fā)現(xiàn)一把鎖，一塊桌布，幾顆星，
仿佛在童年，在同樣的老地方。

From North and from South comes the pilgrim and guest;
When the gray-haired New Englander sees round his board
The old broken links of affection restored,
When the care-wearied man seeks his mother once more,
And the worn matron smiles where the girl smiled before,
What moistens the lip and what brightens the eye?
What calls back the past, like the rich Pumpkin pie?
Oh, fruit loved of boyhood! the old days recalling,
When wood-grapes were purpling and brown nuts were falling!
When wild, ugly faces we carved in its skin,
Glaring out through the dark with a candle within!
When we laughed round the corn-heap, with hearts all in tune,
Our chair a broad pumpkin,—our lantern the moon,
Telling tales of the fairy who travelled like steam
In a pumpkin-shell coach, with two rats for her team!
Then thanks for thy present! none sweeter or better
E'er smoked from an oven or circled a platter!
Fairer hands never wrought at a pastry more fine,
Brighter eyes never watched o'er its baking, than thine!
And the prayer, which my mouth is too full to express,
Swells my heart that thy shadow may never be less,
That the days of thy lot may be lengthened below,
And the fame of thy worth like a pumpkin-vine grow,
And thy life be as sweet, and its last sunset sky
Golden-tinted and fair as thy own Pumpkin pie!
