英語四級(jí)作文:關(guān)于壓力

Is Stress a Bad Thing
According to a recent survey, in the last few years, quite a number of young people have chosen to quit their demanding but highly-paid jobs. Although they may have their own respective reasons, I don't think their decisions are wise in reality.
根據(jù)最近的一份調(diào)查,在最近這些年里,許多年輕人選擇了辭退他們需要花很多心血但是薪水很高的工作。雖然他們可能有各自
的原因,但是我認(rèn)為他們的決定其實(shí)是不明智的.。
It's true the case is not unique. Some people choose to do something less competitive so that they can lead a comfortable, easy life that a highly-paid job cannot obtain. They are afraid that the stresses and strains of work will rob them of joy and happiness and do them harm both physically and mentally. In fact, however, stress isn't the bad thing it is often supposed to be. A certain amount of stress is vital to provide motivation and challenge, and to give significance to an idle life. People under stress are likely to express their full range of potential and to realize goal of a human life.
這種現(xiàn)象真的不罕見。有些人選擇去做一些競爭小一點(diǎn)兒的事情,這樣他們就能生活得舒適、輕松,而高薪工作者是不會(huì)得到這種生活的。他們害怕工作的壓力和束縛會(huì)把他們的快樂和幸福搶去了,而且在身心上都會(huì)對(duì)他們造成危害。然而,事實(shí)上有壓力不是人們常常認(rèn)為的那樣是件壞事。一定量的壓力對(duì)于提供動(dòng)力和挑戰(zhàn)來說至關(guān)重要,而且能給閑散的生活帶來意義。壓力之下的人們有可能會(huì)充分發(fā)揮他們的潛力,并且實(shí)現(xiàn)人生的目標(biāo)。
Stress is a natural part of everyday life and there is no way to avoid it. What we can do is to learn to deal with it rather than to escape from it. (184 words)
壓力是日常生活中很自然的一部分,無法避免。我們能做的就是學(xué)習(xí)處理壓力,而不是逃避它。
