When people are looking for work, especially ifthey are between jobs, it's not uncommon to have acrisis of confidence in interviews. As an interviewer, it's pretty easy to spot someone who isexperiencing this. They tend to do one of two things:

Act overly confident and boastful, hoping to appear too good to be true.

Balance of Confidence & Humility
在自信和謙虛中尋找平衡
The secret to being likable in interviews is to find that fine balance of confidence andhumility. There is a simple two-step process you can use when answering interview questionsto help with that.
被面試官一眼相中的秘訣在于在面試中回答問題時，找到自信與謙虛之間的平衡。以下兩個簡單的步驟將告訴你如何做到這一點(diǎn)。
1) Always talk about yourself using quantifiable accomplishments. Back-up everystatement you make about your abilities with facts and statistics to validate what you aresaying.
1)在自我展示時盡量使用可量化的成就。用事實(shí)和數(shù)據(jù)來支撐你關(guān)于自己能力的敘述。
2) Make it clear that while you are proud of these accomplishments, you did not achievethem alone. Give credit to those who helped you achieve those accomplishments as a way toprove you understand there is no "i" in "team."
2)接下來向面試官傳達(dá)這樣的信號：雖然你為自己的成就感到驕傲，但是你深知這是團(tuán)隊合作的結(jié)果。并且贊美那些幫助你獲得以上成就的人，以證明你深知在團(tuán)隊中“我”其實(shí)沒有那么重要的道理。
You Are Not Special, But You Are Unique
記住你并不特別，但是你是獨(dú)一無二的
In interviews, your goal is to show the employer how you're unique from other candidates.Specifically, how that uniqueness will provide the greatest return on their investment. It is notyour goal to appear special - none of us are. Keep that in mind on interviews and you'll not onlyfind it easier to keep the crisis of confidence in check, you'll be more likeable too.
在面試中，你的目的是要顯示你的與眾不同。特別要說明如果你被錄用了，你的與眾不同能給公司帶來怎樣的最大效益。你的目的不是要顯得你多么特別—事實(shí)上我們都很平凡。記住以上的幾點(diǎn)不僅能使你更輕松地面對自信危機(jī)，而且也能讓你更受面試官青睞。
