Maria: I think you're wrong, Jens. A lot of my friends in Spain are very involved in local politics.

MARIA: Yes. OK, they may be fed up with politicians, but this doesn't mean they don't do something about it.

JENS: I think that's quite rare. A lot of young people don't even bother to vote.

MARIA: I think that's a great pity. For me, it's a sign of a big problem when people don't think it's worth voting.
我覺(jué)得這是一個(gè)巨大的悲哀。對(duì)我而言，如果人們認(rèn)為不值得去投票這標(biāo)志著一個(gè)很大的問(wèn)題。
Daphne: I agree with Maria. Everybody is far too apathetic these days. But at least we have a democracy in this household!
我同意Maria的看法。這些日子里每個(gè)人都太冷漠了。但是我們?cè)谶@個(gè)家里還是享有民主的。
PETER: Ah!
