Worth,worthy,worth (one’s) while,worthwhile
這幾個詞都表示“值得”,但：
�。�1）worth只作表語,表示“價值…”或“值得…”,多接名詞、代詞、或動名詞的主動語態(tài),例如：
This dictionary is worth 150 yuan.
The novel; is worth reading.(or It is worth reading the novel.)
（2）worthy表示“值得、相稱或配得上”時,作表語,接不定式被動語態(tài),或of加名詞、動名詞被動語態(tài);”表示可敬的“時,作定語用,例如：
his behavior is worthy of praise.
His behavior is worthy of being praised.
His behavior is worthy to be praised.
He is a worthy teacher.
�。�3）worth (one’s)while只作表語.worth while 后多接動名詞,worth one’s while后多接不定式,注意具體用法：
It’s worth while reading this story.
Reading this story is worth while.
To read this story is worth while.
It’s worth your while to read this story.
（4）worthwhile作定語用較多;也可作表語,例如：
I thing it is a worthwhile job,and my attempt is worthwhile.
