2016年雅思考試口語(yǔ)專項(xiàng)模擬練習(xí)
重音的發(fā)音規(guī)則和方法
Ÿ 句子重音的功能:
a.體現(xiàn)句子的節(jié)奏感和韻律感;
b.突出重點(diǎn),使聽(tīng)者更容易理解。
Ÿ 一般方法:
a.在句子中需重讀的詞為實(shí)詞,比如,名詞、動(dòng)詞、形容詞、副詞、數(shù)詞、代詞等;
b.不重讀的多為虛詞,比如,冠詞、連詞、介詞、感嘆詞等;
c.be動(dòng)詞及助動(dòng)詞和not結(jié)合表否定時(shí)需重讀。
Ÿ 新信息原則
在答語(yǔ)或語(yǔ)段中,再次出現(xiàn)的不含有新信息的實(shí)義詞,通常不重讀;表示新信息的詞要重讀。
Eg. How many students are there in the classroom?——There are fifty students in the classroom.
Ÿ 強(qiáng)化性原則
為了強(qiáng)調(diào)某詞,無(wú)論是實(shí)詞還是虛詞,均須重讀。
Eg. What does he like best?——He likes to play basketball best, like her.

· There's a lot of poverty in Peru.
· It's a very poor country.
· They have quite a low standard of living.
· What about New Zealand?
· They've got plenty of clean, fresh air.
· I've also heard that it has a good system of government.
· The government takes a lot of taxes though.
· What are the people like?
· On the whole, they are quite well-educated.
· I've heard they're very friendly, too.
