Reading Selectively or Extensively?
As regards reading，there has been a heated discussion among the general public in our society. People who believe in reading selectively argue that people are unable to find enough time to read extensively even if they intend to. What's more，there are also many bad or vulgar books. Therefore，we should be careful to choose healthy and instructive books.
By contrast，others hold that we should read extensively. According to a recent survey conducted by CCTV，a high proportion of scientists as high as 86. 5 percent admit that reading extensively plays a key role in their developing comprehensively and later on making remarkable achievements. As far as I am concerned，I would strike a balance between reading selectively and extensively for each side has its distinctive features. Only in this way can we make good use of books.(151詞)
