　　A:There is another point which should be discussed and cleared up.That's the commodity inspection .How will the clause of inspection be stipulated in the cotract?

　　A:還有一點(diǎn)要討論和澄清，這就是檢驗(yàn)問題，檢驗(yàn)條款在合同中應(yīng)如何規(guī)定?

　　B;The goods under the contract will be inspected by the commodity inspection bureau at the port of loading before they are shipped and the certificate of quality and quantity/weight issued by the bureau shall be regarded as final and binding upon parties.

　　B:本合同項(xiàng)目下的`貨物于裝船前在裝運(yùn)港由商檢局進(jìn)行檢驗(yàn)，該局簽發(fā)的品質(zhì)和數(shù)量或重量證書為最后依據(jù)，對(duì)雙方有約束力。

　　A：這意思是說你們按離岸時(shí)品質(zhì)及數(shù)量賣貨嗎?但如果貨到后發(fā)現(xiàn)質(zhì)量不合格或短貨怎么辦?

　　A:Do you mean that you sell on shipped quality and quantity?But what about the case of disqualification or short weight on arrival?

　　B：我向你保證不會(huì)發(fā)生這樣的情況，我們的貨物只有在符合出口標(biāo)準(zhǔn)后商檢局才會(huì)放行.你也許知道，此商檢局的公正全球聞名。

　　B:I can assure you that is not likely to happen .Our goods must be up to export standards before the commodity inspection bureau enjoys international reputation for impartiality.

　　A:對(duì)貴方產(chǎn)品及商檢局的良好信譽(yù)我們已有所聞，因此并不懷疑，但是萬一發(fā)生短重或質(zhì)量不符合怎么辦?貨物抵達(dá)后買方是否有權(quán)檢查?我們是否有權(quán)提出索賠?

　　A:We have heard about the reputation of both CIB and your products and never doubt them .but what in case there is short weight or disqualification ?Would you tell me whether the buyers have the right to reinspect the goods when goods arrive?Are we entitled to lodge claims?

　　B:當(dāng)然有權(quán)。你方有權(quán)復(fù)檢，但是根據(jù)國(guó)際慣例，對(duì)該商品的復(fù)檢應(yīng)在貨物抵達(dá)后7天內(nèi)進(jìn)行。如有索賠，必須在30天內(nèi)提出。

　　B: Yes. of course. You have the right of reinspection. But for this particular item. we follow the international practice that the reinspectin should be made within 7 days upon the arrival of the goods and if any discrepancies are found you may lodge claims with us within 30 days.

　　A:我想對(duì)這點(diǎn)我已經(jīng)清楚了，謝謝你的耐心解釋。

　　A: Well.l suppose l'm clear about this point. Thank you for being patient with me.

　　B:別客氣，這是我的工作。

　　B. Don't mention it. That's what l'm here for.
