通過唱英語歌,看圖說話等形式復(fù)習(xí)現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時并導(dǎo)入過去進(jìn)行時;借助圖片呈現(xiàn)新單詞,為導(dǎo)入新課作準(zhǔn)備。
1. (用一首英文歌,營造愉快的課堂氛圍,師生問答復(fù)習(xí)現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時。)
T: Good morning, everyone! What a nice day! I’m glad to see you.
Ss: Glad to see you, too!
T: Do you want to sing a song with me?
Ss: Yes.
T: OK. First listen to me. Then follow me.
Are you sleeping? Are you sleeping?
Brother John, brother John.
Morning bell’s ringing. Morning bell’s ringing.
Ding — dong — ding. Ding — dong — ding.
(教師教學(xué)生唱這首歌。)
T: Do you understand this song?
Ss: Yes.
T: Who can tell me what kind of tense it uses in this song?

2. (教師設(shè)置情境,由現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時,導(dǎo)入過去進(jìn)行時。)

Ss: It’s … (視具體情況回答。)

Ss: We are having an English class now.
T: Good. You are having an English class now. But you were having a math class at this time
yesterday.(教師手指班內(nèi)的課程表,幫助學(xué)生理解該句的含義。)

通過聽錄音回答問題,跟讀并查找關(guān)鍵詞句,初步學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)語言。學(xué)習(xí)1a。
1. (讓學(xué)生聽1a錄音,回答問題。)
T: Now we are having an English lesson. What is Jane doing now? What was Jane doing at this time yesterday? Let’s listen to1aand find out the answers to these questions.
(出示小黑板。)
(1)What is Jane doing now?
(2)What was Jane doing at this time yesterday?
(核對答案。)
2. (讓學(xué)生跟讀1a錄音,并畫出關(guān)鍵詞句。)
T: Listen to the tape and repeat it, then find out the key words and sentences.
(板書并講解關(guān)鍵詞句。)

Step 3Consolidation 第三步鞏固(時間:10分鐘)
通過表演對話和編對話,使學(xué)生在交際中掌握過去進(jìn)行時的用法。鞏固1a,完成1b。
1. (播放多媒體課件,學(xué)生與多媒體對話。練習(xí)1a。)
(教師充當(dāng)Jane’s mother。)
T: OK, let’s make a conversation with CAI. I’m Jane’s mother. You’re Maria. Begin!

2. (轉(zhuǎn)換角色,讓學(xué)生充當(dāng)Jane。)
T: Practice the dialog in roles again. Now, you act as Jane.
3. (三個學(xué)生一組根據(jù)黑板上的關(guān)鍵詞及1a的掛圖,練習(xí)并表演對話。)
(兩分鐘后請幾組學(xué)生表演,利用玩具電話操作。)
T:Please use the toy phone to practice the dialog in groups of three according to the key words and sentences. In two minutes, I’ll ask several groups to act them out in the front.
4. (學(xué)生兩人一組操練對話,完成1b。)
T:Please look at the pictures in 1b. Then make conversations with your partner after the example.
Step 4Practice 第四步練習(xí)(時間:7分鐘)
通過接龍游戲,表演對話以及做調(diào)查,使學(xué)生熟練運用過去進(jìn)行時態(tài)。完成2a和2b。
1. (師生對話,導(dǎo)入過去進(jìn)行時的一般疑問句。)
T: I was watching TV at nine o’clock last night. Were you watching TV at that time last night?
S1: Yes, I was.
S2: No, I wasn’t. I was sleeping.
(板書并講解過去進(jìn)行時的一般疑問句的構(gòu)成及簡略答語。)

(讓學(xué)生做接龍游戲,操練過去進(jìn)行時的一般疑問句。)
T:Let’s play a game in chains. Practice the general question of the past continuous tense after the example.

S4: Yes, I was. Were you doing your homework at eight o’clock last night?

2. (讓學(xué)生根據(jù)2a的圖片,模仿例子進(jìn)行操練。)
T:Please look at these pictures in2a. Ask and answer in pairs after the example. I’ll ask several pairs to act them out in the front.

Step 5Project 第五步綜合探究活動(時間:6分鐘)
通過看照片編對話和做調(diào)查寫報告的形式,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生綜合運用所學(xué)知識的能力。
1. (通過多媒體課件出示多張本班學(xué)生的照片,照片人物所做的動作各不相同,讓學(xué)生就所看到的動作,依次完成一般現(xiàn)在時、一般過去時、現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時、過去進(jìn)行時共四種時態(tài)的轉(zhuǎn)換。)
(照片上顯示男生A正在打籃球。根據(jù)照片進(jìn)行對話。)
T: What does A usually do on the playground after school?
Ss: He usually plays basketball.
T: Did he play it yesterday?
Ss: Sorry. I don’t know.
T: Is he playing football now?
Ss: No, he isn’t.

2. (用幻燈片出示表格,讓學(xué)生兩人一組,互相詢問上星期天的各個時間段在做什么,然后
將調(diào)查結(jié)果填入表格。)
T:Please make a survey in pairs about what your partner was doing at different times last Sunday. Then fill the results into the table.
